A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
Location:
Parsippany, NJ (100% On-Site, 5 Days per Week)Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00PM Pay Rate:
$40-$45 per hourDuration:
Temp-to-PermKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with attorneys and legal team members to support internal business clients.Assist with drafting, revising, routing, and finalizing commercial agreements, amendments, certificates, and other legal documents.
Track contract redlines and facilitates execution of agreements with internal and external stakeholders.
Collect and organize documentation from business units to support contract review and execution.
Support the commercial legal team by managing document requests and maintaining contract-related records.
Assist with litigation discovery, document production, and related legal support functions.
Prepare and maintain closing binders and transaction documentation.
Maintain corporate records, including minute books, board resolutions, organizational documents, and governance records.
Assist with preparation of board books and support corporate governance activities.
Manage and input data into Legal Tracker and other legal department systems.
Assist with managing outside counsel invoices, legal accruals, and departmental budgets.
Conduct research and support internal compliance initiatives.
Partner with legal leadership on special projects and process improvement initiatives.
