Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support an in-house legal department in Paulsboro, New Jersey. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with litigation support and eDiscovery experience to work closely with Managing Counsel on a wide range of legal, compliance, records management, and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research and writing abilities, experience managing electronically stored information (ESI), and a proactive approach to supporting litigation and corporate legal operations.

Start Date:
ASAP Key ResponsibilitiesConduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, correspondence, and other written materials.

Support litigation matters by drafting legal briefs, motions, exhibits, reports, and case-related documentation.

Manage discovery processes and organize evidence in both electronic and hard-copy formats.

Assist with eDiscovery initiatives, including collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).Maintain proficiency with legal technology, eDiscovery platforms, and matter management systems.

Administer legal hold processes, including drafting and distributing legal hold notices.

Assist with data analytics and emerging AI tools utilized in eDiscovery and legal workflows.

Prepare initial drafts of agreements, forms, and legal documents for attorney review.

Proofread and edit legal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Review legal invoices for compliance with established billing guidelines.

Assist with records retention initiatives and document productions.

Track court deadlines, filings, and key litigation dates.

Coordinate meetings, maintain legal files, and handle routine correspondence.

Provide administrative and project support to Managing Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, and General Counsel.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
