Full Job Description Benefits:
401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Health insurance Paid time off Training & development Our law office is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our team. Experience in immigration law is preferred; however, we encourage entry-level candidates and recent graduates with a strong interest in the legal field to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist with immigration applications and petitions Assist with removal defense cases Gather supporting documentation and prepare case packets for filing with USCIS, EOIR, and immigration courts Maintain organized case files and track deadlines Communicate with clients to obtain required documentation Draft letters, forms, and basic legal documents under attorney supervision Assist with case status updates and follow-ups
Qualifications:
Prior experience working with immigration forms and case preparation preferred Familiarity with USCIS forms Experience with removal defense, asylum (I-589), and cancellation of removal (42B) is a plus Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required Experience in a law office environment preferred
