Receptionist/Legal Assistant Law Office of Daniel Marks Las Vegas, NV Job Details Full-time 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description The Law Office of Daniel Marks is seeking a full-time Receptionist / Legal Assistant for our busy downtown Las Vegas law office. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and visitors while providing administrative and legal support to the attorneys and staff. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced professional environment. Responsibilities Answer and route incoming telephone calls Greet clients and visitors Schedule appointments, meetings, depositions, and attorney calls Maintain attorney calendars and assist with deadline tracking Open and maintain client files Prepare, scan, copy, print, and organize documents Assist with court filings and legal administrative procedures Process incoming and outgoing mail Assist with billing and payment processing tasks Track deposition transcripts and discovery materials Coordinate with court reporters, vendors, and service providers Maintain office supplies and general office organization Perform other administrative and legal support duties as assigned Qualifications Prior law office experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional demeanor and telephone etiquette Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions Strong attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Reliable attendance and punctuality Proficiency with WordPerfect, Microsoft Office and general office technology Experience with PracticePanther, Odyssey File & Serve, PACER, or similar legal software is a plus. We Are Looking For Someone Who Is dependable and follows through on assigned tasks Maintains professionalism under pressure Learns new procedures quickly Takes initiative when appropriate Communicates effectively with clients and staff Handles confidential information with discretion Can work independently while remaining responsive to attorney direction Has strong attention to detail This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please submit a resume and a brief description of your relevant experience.
