The ideal candidate will support real estate transactions and related legal matters, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in document preparation, research, and case management. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic law office environment, providing essential administrative and legal support for complex real estate and related legal cases. Duties Assist with estate planning, land use, and environmental law projects, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development. Prepare, review, and draft legal documents including contracts, deeds, title reports, and pleadings. Manage document review and case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw. Support litigation processes related to landlord-tenant law, family law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and securities law. Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, document organization, and maintaining case management systems. Conduct client interviews and coordinate with clients regarding case details and documentation needs. Proofread legal documents for accuracy and clarity; assist with transcription tasks as needed. Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining organizational workflows. Support attorneys with project management tasks related to real estate transactions and other legal matters involving tribal law & regulations or patent law. Qualifications Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in real estate law or related legal fields such as estate planning, environmental law, or litigation. Proficiency in legal research tools including Westlaw, LexisNexis, and iManage. Familiarity with legal case management software such as PCLaw or document management systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents; keen proofreading abilities. Effective interviewing skills and phone etiquette for client interactions. Knowledge of various areas of law including landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and immigration law is preferred. Experience with contracts drafting and review; familiarity with legal administrative processes is highly desirable. Ability to perform detailed research and document review accurately. Organizational skills combined with clerical experience in a busy law office environment are essential. This position requires a proactive individual who is committed to supporting our legal team through meticulous work ethic and professional integrity. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced legal setting while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
