Personal Injury Paralegal

Paralegal Well respected Plaintiffs' Personal Injury law firm in the heart of Nassau with family-like atmosphere seeking a full time experienced, detail-oriented paralegal. The candidate must be capable of handling all stages of negligence cases from intake to trial preparation. 401k with employer contribution is available. Responsibilities and Duties Maintain client communication Communicate with insurance companies and defense counsel's office Maintain case calendar, schedule appointments and depositions Prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions along with exhibits thereto for service and filing Gather, review and digest client medical records Qualifications and Skills Spanish- speaking is a plus Minimum of 3 years experience Must be self-motivated and able to work independently Experienced using SmartAdvocate Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective time management, organizational and problem-solving skills Salary commensurate with experience.
