Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our legal team. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to support a diverse range of legal practices, including Workers compensation, Personal injury, family law, immigration law, and more. The ideal candidate will be passionate about legal research, case management, and document review while providing exceptional administrative and organizational support. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to grow their legal expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to justice and client service. Duties Manage legal case files and document management systems such DropBox and other electronic filing platforms to ensure accurate and organized records. Draft, review, proofread, and edit legal documents including contracts, pleadings, correspondence, and reports with precision and clarity. Conduct thorough document review and data entry to support litigation, transactional work, or regulatory compliance efforts. Coordinate client interviews and gather pertinent information through effective interviewing techniques to facilitate case preparation. Support project management initiatives by tracking deadlines, maintaining schedules, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, handling phone inquiries with professionalism, and performing clerical duties such as filing and transcription. Requirements Paralegal experience with familiarity in multiple practice areas. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail. Proficiency in proofreading and transcription to ensure accuracy in all legal materials. Familiarity with project management principles and tools to coordinate multiple cases simultaneously. Strong clerical experience including data entry, filing systems (physical and electronic), and administrative support functions. Effective phone etiquette combined with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
