Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
Hybrid:
3 days/week in Uniondale, NY and 2 days/week remote- Seeking 5+ years of law firm experience
- Salary up to $75,000/yr The ideal candidate is a versatile team player who demonstrates experience performing multiple work assignments concurrently, often within a short period of time, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
Provide support to multiple attorneys' daily work routine and understand and adapt to their unique practice, priorities and preferences. Prepare, edit, format and proofread correspondence, agreements, contracts, etc. Prepare, edit, format and proofread complex legal documents including, complaints, answers, motions, as well as other pleadings. Electronic filing of documents on court websites (ECF/NYSCEF/AAA). Coordinate and manage attorneys' calendars including scheduling meetings, conference calls, zoom meetings. Open new matters using Intapp and prepare retainer agreements and other corresponding documents. Data entry of case progression into Time Matters for No-Fault matters. Entry of daily attorney time using iTimekeep. Provide administrative support, answering phones, copying, scanning, submit expenses using Chrome River.Qualifications:
Typing skills: 55+ words per minute.
