Job Description

Legal Assistant in Westbury, NY We are looking for a Legal Assistant to provide support to attorneys in various legal tasks related to personal injury cases. This position will involve working closely with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel. Key Responsibilities Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as complaints, discovery responses, motions, and settlement agreements. Organize case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and updated regularly. Coordinate depositions, IMEs, and court appearances as needed. Review and summarize medical records and bills. Communicate with clients to keep them informed and obtain necessary information. Ensure all case deadlines are met and filings are done in a timely manner. Prepare trial materials and assist in negotiations and settlements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal Must be able to work in our Westbury office on Long Island
