Legal Assistant
LOCATION
Cincinnati, OH Hybrid TYPE Direct Hire ID BP70-2754765 POSTED May 8, 2026 We're recruiting for a Legal Assistant to support a busy immigration law practice in Cincinnati. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential client information, legal documents, deadlines, and high-volume administrative support. What You'll Do Support attorneys and paralegals with immigration petitions, applications, filings, and case documentation Communicate with clients to gather information, documents, updates, and case details Track deadlines, case status, expirations, and follow-up items Prepare, proofread, revise, and organize legal documents and correspondence Assist with USCIS and government agency correspondence, notices, and evidence requests Maintain electronic and physical files in accordance with office procedures Coordinate outside services such as translation or evaluation vendors Process correspondence, invoices, disbursements, expenses, and time entries Help manage a high volume of administrative work while keeping the legal team updated What You'll Bring Legal assistant, administrative, or office support experience in a professional setting Prior law firm experience is preferred; immigration law experience is a plus Strong organization, accuracy, follow-through, and attention to detail Ability to support multiple attorneys or supervisors and manage shifting priorities Professional communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with iManage or Formally AI is helpful High school diploma or equivalent required today to learn more about this Cincinnati Legal Assistant opportunity.
