Job Description

Job Summary We are an established compassionate, client focused family law practice looking for a paralegal. We value efficiency, teamwork, and exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and comfortable supporting attorneys through every stage of domestic relations matters. We value professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
Responsibilities Case management:
maintain files and track deadlines Client communication: provide updates, gather documents, schedule meetings Court preparation: assemble exhibits, prepare trial binders, coordinate filings Discovery support: prepare requests, organize responses, summarize records Draft and revise pleadings, motions, and settlement documents Communicate with court personnel and opposing counsel Assist attorneys with hearing and trial preparation Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case developement. Provide administrative support including calendar management, phone etiquette, scheduling meetings, answering multi-line phone, and handling routine clerical tasks within the law office environment. Ideal Candidate Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms. Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail. Proficiency in legal case management software Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining organizational excellence. Experience with legal administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading, transcription, and document management systems. Effective communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette; capable of interviewing clients. Strong organizational skills combined with clerical experience in a busy law office setting; ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Join our team where your skills will make a meaningful impact!
