Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Probate Assistant to join our growing law practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling probate matters from start to finish, strong organizational and client service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position involves probate administration, estate planning support, deed preparation, client communication, and general case management. We are looking for a dependable professional with a strong work ethic who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work and providing exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities Attend client meetings with attorneys and assist with client intake and follow-up Manage probate cases from opening through final distribution and closing Prepare and file probate court documents and pleadings Draft correspondence and probate-related documents Assist with estate planning document preparation, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents Prepare and coordinate recording of deeds and related documents Communicate regularly with clients, courts, financial institutions, title companies, and other third parties Maintain case files, deadlines, and calendars Organize and manage electronic and physical documents Schedule appointments and assist with general office operations Work collaboratively with attorneys and team members to ensure efficient case progression Required Qualifications Prior experience handling probate matters from start to finish is required Comfortable attending client meetings and interacting directly with clients in a professional manner Excellent customer service and client relationship skills Strong understanding of probate administration procedures and court filings Experience preparing probate documents and related legal correspondence Experience preparing and recording deeds is preferred Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal practice management software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Exceptional organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Professional demeanor and positive attitude Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
