A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, court appearances, and depositions
- Maintain case files and legal documents in both electronic and physical filing systems
- Draft routine legal correspondence and documents
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other law firms
- Process and organize incoming mail, emails, and faxes
- Conduct basic legal research and case law citations
- Assist in trial preparation and document management
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Provide general office support including copying, scanning, and managing office supplies Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or legal software platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and appearance Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal office environment
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or related field
- Paralegal certification
- Experience with case management software
- Knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) a plus Work Environment
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
