Business Transactions Paralegal - Corporate and Commercial Law Are you an experienced paralegal who enjoys business transactions and wants to work with a friendly, down-to-earth team? We are seeking a Business Transactions Paralegal to support attorneys with corporate, commercial, and transactional matters. We take our work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. Why You'll Want to Work Here Fun, encouraging culture with coworkers who genuinely support one another Approachable, mentorship-oriented management that wants employees to succeed Flexibility and a healthy work-life balance once trust and independence are established Opportunity to take ownership of meaningful corporate and transactional work Professional environment that is collaborative rather than overly formal or stuffy What You'll Do Provide paralegal and administrative support to business transaction attorneys Assist with corporate, commercial, and business transactions Prepare, revise, proofread, organize, and maintain contracts, agreements, corporate records, and transaction documents Assist with entity formation, corporate maintenance, governance matters, corporate filings, and recordkeeping Support due diligence, transaction closings, and post-closing activities Coordinate document collection, review processes, virtual data rooms, and signature packets Organize closing documents and monitor outstanding transaction requirements Conduct legal and factual research Assist with regulatory and compliance matters Track deadlines, filing requirements, contract obligations, and other important dates Communicate with clients, attorneys, business partners, government agencies, outside counsel, and internal team members Maintain legal databases, document-management systems, contract repositories, and departmental records Provide occasional paralegal and administrative support to the title department Assist with other projects as needed What We're Looking For At least 5 years of paralegal experience in corporate, commercial, transactional, or business law Associate degree, bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Knowledge of corporate governance, contract administration, legal documentation, and transactional processes Experience with entity formation, entity management, corporate filings, due diligence, and transaction closings preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience with document-management systems, contract-management platforms, and virtual data rooms preferred Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project-management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability to work independently while remaining a supportive member of the team Strong attention to detail, discretion, and respect for confidential information Who Will Fit in Well Friendly, dependable, and easygoing Comfortable working in a lighthearted but professional environment Willing to help coworkers when needed Organized and able to take ownership of responsibilities Interested in learning, growing, and receiving mentorship Able to communicate openly and work collaboratively If you are a paralegal and want to work in a place that is friendly and fun then send your resume to eric.vetter@gogpac.com
