Adobe Acrobat Full Job Description Essential Job Functions:
Conduct background investigation of lay & Expert Witnesses Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment Ability to work on cases from inception and handle incoming and outgoing discovery Ability to secure and analyze medical records and document productions Independently obtain, review and organize medical billings, calculate damages related to loss including medical expenses, lost wages and property damage, as well as insurance claim files. Obtain liens and affidavits Ability to prepare Deposition, Mediation, and Trial Exhibits Ability to prepare cases for trial, attend trial to assist attorney and utilize Trial Pad to present exhibits in court Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of state and federal court procedures Absolute necessity to function well within a team environment Must prioritize and adjust to changing priorities, to manage multiple tasks concurrently, and to work well under pressure Perform legal research using resources such as PACER, Accurint, OSCN, etc. Review and organize a large quantity of documents related to a high volume of cases and matters Compile, analyze, summarize, index and organize information and material clearly and logically for subpoenas, document requests, depositions and meetings Proficient with Adobe Pro, Word, Trial Pad, Utilization of Win Zip, Dropbox and Share File Index materials from document production; participate in document production either on firm premises or off-site as directed by supervising attorney. Review documents based on standards set by attorneys, such as relevance, confidentiality and attorney-client privilege & Bate stamping and redacting of documents Assist during case trial, including controlling/tracking exhibits, and running presentations Establish, organize, and maintain master chronology of case documents and productions Pull relevant documents, proofread documents, organize exhibits to prepare exhibits for motion filing
Litigation Paralegal Requirements :
Solid understanding of civil litigation (state and federal deadlines and rules) High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Pro Work Environment Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
