is looking for an Experienced Estate Planning Paralegal in West Linn, Oregon.
Overview :
This is an opportunity to be part of a highly respected, fast-paced, growing law firm specializing in estate planning, family law proceedings, and mediation services. As an experienced estate planning paralegal at Perkins Law, LLC, your responsibilities will encompass all stages of the estate planning process, from initial client intake through document execution and trust funding. We are seeking a professional who will work in close partnership with our attorneys to manage a diverse caseload, with a specific focus on high-quality, comprehensive estate plans. Position Duties :
Communicate directly with clients to navigate the complexities of their estate planning needs, ensuring all necessary family and financial information is accurately gathered and organized. Draft complex estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives, for attorney review. Coordinate and oversee signing meetings, ensuring meticulous execution, witnessing, and notarization of estate planning portfolios. Collaborate closely with attorneys to develop and implement customized asset preservation and distribution strategies. Support attorneys in reviewing financial data, property deeds, and asset portfolios to facilitate proper trust funding and asset alignment. Draft substantive legal correspondence and client instructions regarding the administration and maintenance of their estate plans. Perform other related duties as assigned, including providing strategic support to the legal team and maintaining a high level of client service.
Preferred Qualifications :
Significant experience as an Estate Planning Paralegal, demonstrating a mastery of trust and estate documents. Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness in document production and file management. Proven ability to work effectively under attorney supervision and follow complex instructions. Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Excellent written and oral communication proficiency Efficient time and task management Exceptional client service Ability to work independently Our ideal candidate will have excellent teamwork skills, a positive attitude, high energy, and creative critical thinking skills.
