Position Summary The Personal Injury Paralegal/Case Manager will oversee a caseload of approximately 50-100 personal injury matters from intake through settlement or litigation. The ideal candidate understands how to keep files moving, proactively identify next steps, maintain organized case files, and ensure that no case falls through the cracks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and experience using case management and CRM platforms. Familiarity with Clio is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters. Maintain organized electronic and physical case files. Regularly review files and identify action items needed to advance cases. Obtain and organize medical records, bills, liens, insurance information, and other case-related documentation. Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel. Draft routine correspondence, settlement packages, discovery responses, and litigation support documents. Monitor treatment progress and damages development. Track statutes of limitation, deadlines, and critical case milestones. Assist attorneys in preparing cases for settlement negotiations, mediation, and litigation. Coordinate with experts, medical providers, and witnesses when necessary. Maintain accurate notes and updates within the firm's case management and CRM systems. Assist with client intake and onboarding as needed. Ensure consistent follow-up on outstanding records requests, lien information, and insurance claims. Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to maximize case value and efficiency. Handle litigation matters including discovery and drafting peladings calendaring events and managing litigation deadlines QualificationsRequired Minimum of 2 years of personal injury case management or paralegal experience . Experience managing a substantial caseload independently. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Proficiency with case management and CRM software. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Preferred Experience with Clio Manage or similar legal case management platforms.
