About the Role We're looking for a Corporate Paralegal to support our growing business across commercial contracting, employment and compliance matters, and internal risk management. This is a highly collaborative, business-facing role that works closely with leadership, HR, and commercial teams to support day-to-day legal and operational needs. This opportunity is ideal for a junior to mid-level paralegal who enjoys practical legal work, strong cross-functional partnership, and operating in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Commercial & Contracting
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer and sales agreements, vendor and service contracts, NDAs, and master service agreements.
- Partner with commercial teams to structure practical, business-oriented contract terms.
- Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks. Employment & Compliance
- Advise HR and leadership on employment law and compliance matters.
- Support the development and review of policies, SOPs, and internal procedures.
- Provide guidance on employee relations and risk mitigation. Internal Legal & Risk Management
- Identify legal and regulatory risks across operations.
- Recommend practical, business-aligned solutions.
- Support corporate governance and internal controls as needed. This role focuses on transactional, compliance, and advisory support for internal operations, with outside counsel engaged for dispute-related matters. Qualifications Required
- Paralegal certificate, associate's degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2-6 years of paralegal or legal support experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house setting.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Working knowledge of employment law and compliance matters. Preferred
- Experience supporting energy, oil & gas, or industrial businesses.
- Background in transactional or corporate practice.
- Exposure to multi-state employment environments.
