A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Prepare, revise, and process Compromise and Release documents using firm templates or documents provided by defendants.
- Send legal documents to clients through DocuSign or mail, then review returned documents for complete and accurate execution.
- Prepare and include related forms and supporting documents, including Request for Dismissal, exposure and medical information forms, non-Medicare eligibility forms, and Successor-In-Interest declarations when applicable.
- Process releases involving active defendants and bankrupt defendants, including Trust website uploads and mailing documents as needed.
- Maintain accurate internal logs and case tracking records throughout the full release process.
- Communicate with clients by phone regarding outstanding documents, release questions, Medicare eligibility, and related case matters. Compensation and Benefits
