Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Established mid-sized law firm is expanding and hiring a Corporate Paralegal. This is a permanent position with full benefits. Salary is estimated Full benefits and other incentives. Remote option after training if desired. The Corporate Paralegal is responsible for drafting, filing and managing various business entity documents for corporations, LLCs and partnerships with government agencies. Assist or manage the process for entity formation and governance, elements of asset and business purchases and M&A transactions. The Paralegal will work closely with experienced Corporate Attorneys in a busy department. Experience preparing financial analysis, tax filings for entities and familiarity with EINs, S-elections, QSSTs, ESBTs, exempt organizations is strongly preferred.
