Job Description

We're a boutique trusts and estates law firm with offices in Studio City and Mission Viejo. This position is for our Mission Viejo office. Join a team where you'll be a valued member of a collaborative team. We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized Legal Assistant to support our Mission Viejo office and help our clients navigate some of life's most important decisions. You'll work directly with experienced attorneys in a personable environment where your contributions matter. Our team guides clients through some of life's most meaningful transitions, and we take the same care in who we bring on board. Responsibilities Prepare and coordinate client documents for shipping and in-person signing ceremonies Notarize estate planning documents as a commissioned California notary Record and file deeds with the appropriate county offices Draft and send professional client communications, including follow-up correspondence Scan, organize, and maintain client document files Manage client lists and proactively follow up to ensure nothing falls through the cracks Oversee office supply inventory and keep the workspace running efficiently Handle scheduling, calendar management, and administrative tasks Maintain accuracy and attention to detail on all work product Requirements Active California notary commission (required) Proven experience in a legal, administrative, or office management role Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you'll be a direct point of contact for clients Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Meticulous attention to detail Strong organizational skills and comfort managing competing priorities Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off This is a full-time position with competitive pay. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
