We provide legal expertise, creative solutions and extensive trial experience for large corporations, small businesses, and individuals. We have an opportunity for an experienced Litigation & Trial Paralegal to join our California office in the Monrovia/Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced trial environment, is highly organized, and excels at managing cases throughout the litigation process leading up to and during trial.
This position is hybrid:
2 days in office, 3 days remote when not in trial.
Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of assigned cases from initial intake through verdict, with a strong focus on trial preparation and support Prepare, organize, and maintain trial notebooks, binders, boxes, and exhibit sets for court, witnesses, and counsel Coordinate, track, and manage trial exhibits, including exhibit lists, numbering, labeling, and admission status Assist with preparing motions in limine, trial briefs, motions, exhibit lists, witness lists, and jury instructions Manage, organize, and summarize certified transcripts, including deposition and trial transcripts Coordinate with experts regarding retention, scheduling, document exchange, and testimony Maintain client extranets with up-to-date case and trial materials; serve as a primary client communication tool Receive, process, and organize documents into the firm's case management system and electronic repository Manage document productions, including trial-related productions Enter and track pertinent case data (interrogatory responses, records, earnings information, etc.) into databases Prepare billing and medical summaries and track billable time in the firm's time entry system Other duties as assigned
Additional Trial Paralegal Responsibilities:
Serve as a key member of the trial team, responsible for organizing and running the trial war room Manage trial documents and demonstratives, ensuring real-time access for attorneys during trial Provide hands-on trial support, including courtroom setup, daily exhibit management, and end-of-day organization
Litigation Paralegal Qualifications:
At least three years of litigation paralegal experience Toxic Tort, Products Liability, or Personal Injury experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-volume workloads
Additional Trial Paralegal Qualifications:
Trial war room and trial support experience preferred Full on-site presence is required when supporting attorneys at trial Ability to attend trials locally and nationally In return for your talents, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes flexible benefits for healthcare/dental/vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), professional development and training, generous PTO and paid holidays, mental health benefit, and more. Compensation Range is $90,000-110,000 for Litigation Paralegal. Up to $125,000 for the Trial Paralegal role.
