A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and assist with various tasks related to insurance claims covering personal injury cases for our law firm, managing cases and doing research to make sure we have the necessary facts to move forward with each case.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to clients Assist with property damage contacts Enter incidents and related details into our system Communicate with auto insurance companies on behalf of clients Send correspondence to outside organizations Verify accident facts Open insurance claims and maintain accurate records Multitask effectively and prioritize tasks Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy Write clearly and concisely Attend daily Zoom meetings Communicate effectively with attorneys Determine liability Conduct public records searches Request prior medical records
Requirements:
Strong communication skills Must be Bi lingual, English and Spanish Excellent attention to detail Strong writing skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Experience with data entry and record-keeping Familiarity with insurance claims processes Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus Proficiency in

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
