As a legal assistant, you work as part of a team to provide support and your experience to assisting and supporting the creditor's rights team to deliver timely and quality service for our clients. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, professionalism, flexibility, and cooperation as essential aspects of overall competency. In this role, you will have the ability to perform the below essential functions with proficiency: Familiarity with court procedures for Oregon and Washington State, Appellate, and Federal E-filing. Maintaining attorney calendars / accurately docketing court deadlines Advanced knowledge of state and federal court procedures and rules Litigation experience The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience with: Corporate and general business
Bankruptcy, Foreclosure or Collections Preferred Knowledge and Minimum Qualifications:
3 to 5 years experience as a legal assistant preferably in the areas listed above Training or education in a certified paralegal program Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable computer programs required to manage the practice Knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac foreclosure process and reporting High attention to detail and meticulous proofreading skills Highly organized, efficient, and resourceful Good interpersonal skills and willingness to contribute to a team environment Support a client service philosophy and work in a professional manner Ability to work under pressure, maintain client confidentiality, and meet deadlines If you believe your experience is a match to our requirements, we would love to hear from you.
