Job Description

Busy and growing multi-faceted law firm in Dadeland area is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team in handling first-party insurance cases! Job duties will include but are not limited to: Provide general office support for litigation attorneys, including: maintaining and organizing case files, maintain calendars, submit invoices for payment, and coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, meetings and conferences; Prepare legal correspondence and documents; E-filing documents with State and Federal Court; E-Courtesy in various counties throughout the state of Florida. Establish and maintain electronic filing systems; classify, sort, and file correspondence, records, and other documents. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and PerfectLaw/AIM. The right candidate will be a self-starter, pay close attention to detail, have the ability to work independently and efficiently and to learn quickly, strong organizational skills, experience maintaining filing systems, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
