A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Assist with scheduling and communication with internal and external clients. Conduct interviews and collect information for case review. Manage casework, documentation, and case resolution. Research information and review legal documents as needed. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Work efficiently across multiple databases and systems. Attend meetings and participate in workgroup discussions. Provide administrative support to leadership as needed. Requirements Associate or Bachelor's degree required. Paralegal studies or legal experience is a plus. Customer service or call center experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
