Overview The Legal team provides support to each facet of the Cypress Creek Energy organization, with competencies ranging from M&A, complex financings, development, procurement, real estate, construction and general corporate governance. The internship will provide exposure to a wide variety of legal work by affording the candidate the opportunity to both work closely with the company's attorneys in their day-to-day activities and work independently on long-term assignments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support attorneys across a broad range of legal functions spanning transactional, real estate, and contract work Draft ancillary documents and provide general transactional support on M&A and financing transactions Partner with EPC and O&M teams on contract support and related legal matters Work cross-functionally with project development, structured finance, and operations teams to support deal execution and project progression Perform diligence-related tasks Perform research assignments Organize in-house knowledge resources Qualifications Current 1st or 2nd year law school student Demonstrated interest in renewables sector Strong analytical skills Excellent communication skills - both written and oral Creative problem-solving Highly organized and punctual Strong self-starter who is a team player and can work independently
