A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate litigation support for as many as three attorneys, ensuring deadlines, filings, and case materials are handled efficiently.
- Prepare, file, and track court documents in both state and federal courts using electronic filing systems.
- Maintain litigation calendars by monitoring hearings, filing dates, discovery schedules, and other case deadlines.
- Review and proofread pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents for grammar, formatting, and consistency.
- Organize, draft, and manage discovery materials, including document production, responses, and related case records.
- Assemble and maintain case files, exhibits, and supporting documentation so attorneys have timely access to matter information.

- At least 7 years of litigation support experience in a legal assistant or similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to complete electronic filings in both state and federal court systems.
- Strong working knowledge of litigation calendaring and deadline management.
- Proven skill in proofreading legal documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience handling discovery processes and organizing case documentation.
- Ability to provide effective support to multiple attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Background in commercial litigation and construction litigation is preferred.
