Job Description

Seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal with 2+ years of federal and state court litigation experience. This position requires advanced skills in case management, discovery, court filing, and trial preparation in federal court, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Discovery Management:
Assist with managing the discovery process, including drafting and organizing responses to interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas under attorney supervision.
Case Development:
Investigate facts, review documents, and summarize depositions/transcripts for attorney review.
Federal Court Filings:
Handle all facets of federal court filings, including Motions for Summary Judgment and pretrial materials.
Trial Preparation:
Prepare trial notebooks, organize exhibits, assist with deposition and hearing materials, and coordinate witness logistics for federal and state court hearings and trials.
Research & Drafting:
Conduct legal research, analyze statutes, and draft initial pleadings and correspondence under attorney supervision.
Client Liaison:
Maintain professional communication with clients regarding case status, scheduling, document requests, and other case-related matters.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in employment, education, or commercial litigation. Strong understanding of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP). Proficiency with e-filing systems, Westlaw/Lexis, and document management software. Bachelor's degree and/or ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred. Strong organizational, written communication, and attention to detail skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize deadlines, and work independently.
