Nurse Paralegal

Nurse Paralegal (Edwardsville, IL| Hybrid) A nationally recognized litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Nurse Paralegal to join its litigation team in Edwardsville. This role is ideal for a paralegal with strong litigation support experience and a background in medical record analysis related to complex civil matters. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive review, analysis, and summarization of medical records Analyze progressive physician notes to identify diagnoses, comorbidities, and pre-existing conditions Research and evaluate medical charts for indicators of malignant disease Develop detailed medical timelines and summaries for litigation use Perform medical and scientific literature research to support defense strategies and challenge claims Collaborate closely with attorneys on case strategy and presentation of medical evidence Assist with expert witness preparation, depositions, and trial support Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Paralegal, Legal Nurse Consultant, or similar litigation support role Bachelor's Degree in Nursing , RN, LNCC certification, or comparable medical background required Strong understanding of medical terminology, pathology, oncology, and exposure-related diseases Prior law firm experience and familiarity with billable time entry preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Team-oriented with a strong client-service mindset What We're Looking For A self-motivated paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Flexible and collaborative approach to supporting case teams

Benefits Salary :

$55,000-$70,000 (based on experience)
