Company Description Messina Law Group, P.A. is a Tampa Bay area law firm providing legal counsel in Real Estate, Probate, Business and Estate Planning Services. With offices in multiple locations throughout the region, the firm is well-positioned to serve a diverse client base and a wide range of legal needs. The team focuses on delivering practical solutions and personalized service to individuals, families, and businesses. Role Description This is a full-time role for a Paralegal at Messina Law Group, P.A based in New Port Richey with some flexibility for work from home. The Paralegal will support attorneys in day-to-day case management for Real Estate, Probate, Business, and Estate Planning matters. Daily responsibilities include drafting and preparing legal documents, organizing and maintaining case files, drafting pleadings, motions and petitions, conducting legal and factual research, and reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness. The Paralegal will communicate with clients, courts, and other parties, schedule and coordinate hearings and appointments, and assist with filing and recording documents. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Qualifications Foundational knowledge of Law and familiarity with Real Estate, Probate, and Civil Procedure is required. Must have at least two years of paralegal experience in a law firm focused in the areas of Probate Administration, Trust Administration, Estate Planning, and/or Real Estate. Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting pleadings, correspondence, contracts, affidavits, and discovery production. Strong Research skills. Experience with document review, including checking for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with court and statutory requirements. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, courts, and third parties in a professional manner. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple matters and deadlines. Competence with legal practice management software, document management systems, and the standard MS Office Suite of applications. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a bonus but not required. Must have a Florida Notary certificate or the ability/willingness to obtain.
