Job Description

Job Summary Solo practitioner looking for a reliable Paralegal. In person or remote, looking for good communication. Needing help with civil matters, expunction, personal injury. If you have experience with these, apply. Pay commensurates with experience. Bilingual (Spanish a plus) Responsibilities Assist attorneys with civil litigation cases, including document review, legal research, and drafting pleadings or motions related to expunctions and other civil matters Manage case files using legal case management systems such as PCLaw, iManage, and document management platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis Conduct thorough legal research across diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, and litigation support Prepare and proofread legal documents with precision; transcribe depositions or court proceedings as needed; ensure accuracy in all filings and correspondence Organize and maintain extensive client records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and regulatory requirements Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, scheduling interviews or client meetings, and tracking case progress Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, answering phones with professional etiquette, and supporting the legal team's daily operations Experience Prior paralegal experience in civil law or related fields is highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency with legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis Experience working with document management systems such as iManage or similar platforms Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading for accuracy is essential

From $20.00 per hour
