Job Description

Paralegal - Findlay Office Job Opportunity - Findlay, OH office. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong academic background, excellent research and writing skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse legal matters across multiple practice groups.

Areas of Responsibility:
Legal Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough legal research using various resources to assist attorneys in case preparation, including statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, codes, and documents.
Document Drafting and Review:
Draft, review, and edit a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, briefs, discovery materials, motions, real estate, and various transaction documents.
Matter Management:
Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files, managing deadlines, and coordinating schedules.
Client Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, provide updates, and answer inquiries under the guidance of an attorney.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support such as filing legal documents with the court, managing electronic and physical case files, and scheduling meetings.
Compliance and Regulation:
Ensure all actions comply with relevant laws and regulations and keep up to date with changes in legal procedures and policies.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with attorneys, other paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure efficient and effective legal operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associates degree or higher in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field, or proven experience. Paralegal certification preferred but not required.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal setting. Trust and Estate experience a plus.
Skills:
Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in legal research tools and office software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Location:
In-Office-based with occasional remote work flexibility.
Hours:
Full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week, with occasional extended hours as needed to meet deadlines.
Salary and Benefits:
