We are seeking a Paralegal to support our Creditor's Rights group.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Creditor's Rights Paralegal. This role is responsible for supporting attorneys in matters related to creditor representation, including foreclosure proceedings, litigation, and bankruptcy matters, maintaining organized client files, and ensuring compliance with applicable court procedures and filing requirements. The Paralegal will be supported by a Legal Assistant and is eligible for overtime.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drafts and organizes legal documents including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and filings related to creditor's rights matters Assists with foreclosure process documentation, including preparation, filing, and tracking of required materials Supports attorneys in litigation matters, including case preparation, discovery, and hearing/trial support Assists with bankruptcy filings and monitoring, including reviewing filings and tracking deadlines and case developments Coordinates execution and filing of legal documents, including arranging for notarization and court submission Conducts client intake and gathers relevant account, asset, and case-related information for attorney review Assists clients via email and phone to obtain necessary documentation and information related to creditor claims and proceedings Manages case timelines and deadlines, including court filings, hearings, and statutory requirements Tracks deadlines related to filings, responses, and court appearances Maintains communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed Organizes and maintains case files and document management systems Conducts legal research and summarizes findings for attorney review Produces error-free, court-ready documents with a high level of accuracy Prioritizes workload to meet deadlines and manages multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Maintains composure and professionalism while managing competing priorities and assignments Ensures compliance with court procedures, local rules, and filing requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in creditor's rights, litigation, foreclosure, or bankruptcy Experience with foreclosure processes and/or bankruptcy matters strongly preferred Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court rules Highly efficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Paralegal certification is a
