Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal Location:
Garden City, NY (In-Office with One Day Remote Option)
Practice Area:
Plaintiff Personal Injury Salary:
$65,000-$85,000 dependent on experience.
Schedule:
Full Time, 8 Hours/Day Monday-Friday Our growing personal injury litigation firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our Garden City office. This is not an entry-level role . We are looking for someone who already knows discovery inside and out and can step in and contribute immediately. What You'll Do Draft and manage discovery demands and responses (Bills of Particulars, responses to demands, authorizations, etc.) Request, organize, review, and summarize medical records, employment records, and accident-related documents Track discovery deadlines and ensure timely, accurate compliance Assist with deposition and trial preparation E-file documents through NYSCEF and review and analyze NYSCEF filings Assist with calendar-related items Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts professionally and efficiently What We're Looking For Minimum 2+ years experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal Hands-on experience drafting discovery responses (required — please do not apply without this) Strong understanding of New York personal injury litigation and the New York CPLR Excellent writing, organization, and attention to detail Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and shifting priorities Comfortable working independently and as part of a litigation team Benefits A minimum of two (2) weeks paid vacation with additional days depending on years of experience Eight (8) personal days (including sick time) Health insurance, including dental and vision 401k contribution after one year of employment with 5% contribution by the firm annually Opportunity to work with a supportive and highly experienced litigation team
