Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation cases across a diverse range of practice areas, including environmental law, estate planning, family law, securities law, and more. As a Senior Litigation Paralegal, you will play an integral part in managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. Your expertise will help ensure efficient case management and contribute to successful outcomes for our clients. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to leverage extensive paralegal experience in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities Manage and organize large volumes of legal documents using document management systems such as iManage and Westlaw, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Conduct comprehensive legal research across various practice areas including UCC law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, and personal injury law to support case strategies. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist attorneys with case preparation by reviewing documents for relevance and privilege during document review processes. Coordinate and schedule depositions, interviews, court appearances, and client meetings while maintaining detailed calendars. Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, maintaining case files, and ensuring timely submission of filings in compliance with court rules. Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, transcription, and maintaining communication logs while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Conduct legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather pertinent case law and statutory information across multiple jurisdictions. Collaborate with team members on complex litigation matters involving multiple practice areas such as landlord-tenant law, immigration law, securities law, family law, and environmental law. Assist in preparing trial exhibits and organizing evidence for court presentations; support attorneys during hearings or trials as needed. Skills Extensive paralegal experience with a strong background in litigation support across diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, and personal injury law. Proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with legal case management software like PCLaw. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents; excellent proofreading and transcription abilities to ensure accuracy. Knowledge of document review procedures and familiarity with electronic discovery platforms. Experience using document management systems such as iManage; data entry skills for maintaining accurate case records. Effective interviewing techniques for client or witness interviews; ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. Project management capabilities to coordinate tasks efficiently within a busy legal environment. Superior administrative skills including filing systems, clerical experience, phone etiquette, and organizational proficiency necessary for supporting busy law office operations.
