We are currently a 3-person office and growing. You must be able to operate completely independently with minimal supervision. This is not a position for someone who needs training or guidance on litigation procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing litigation tasks from litigation through settlement and trial preparation. Someone who is self-motivated, has experience drafting legal documents accurately and efficiently, organizational skills, and ability to multitask. In this position they will also need to know how to keep a trial calendar, coordinate with lay/medical/expert witnesses, assist with preparing discovery responses, filing motions and preparing pretrial documents . All applications will be kept in confidence. We are open to hybrid, and remote depending on experience of the individual we hire. Duties include, but are not limited to: Draft, review, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence Prepare and file documents in California state and federal courts Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, experts, courts, and opposing counsel Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation Manage and calendar court deadlines, hearings, and discovery schedules Propound and respond to discovery Maintain accurate, well-organized electronic and physical case files
Trial Preparation:
Organize case files, prepare exhibits and trial binders, coordinate with witnesses and experts, and support all pre-trial logistics Technical requirements: Must have experience with California state and federal court e-filing systems (InfoTrack, One Legal, etc.) Experience with Clio Experience Minimum 3-7 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience, with demonstrated experience taking cases from inception through trial. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required Compensation includes competitive salary, 401k, health benefits, and scheduled discretionary bonuses. Salary depends on experience.
