Position Overview We're seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine deep litigation expertise with strong technological proficiency, bringing both traditional legal knowledge and modern efficiency to our practice. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in Florida personal injury law Demonstrated experience supporting trials, with ability to discuss role and responsibilities while maintaining confidentiality Strong proficiency in legal technology platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams - and using case management software, such as Filevine. Florida litigation procedure expertise, particularly with Case Management Orders (CMOs) Experience in complex case management and trial preparation Technical Expertise Expert-level knowledge of pleadings and written discovery Proven ability to manage and execute CMO requirements Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage issues, and policy interpretation Proficiency in medical record review, lien negotiation, and damages calculation Experience with settlement demand preparation and execution Advanced skills in case valuation and strategic planning Core Responsibilities Manage litigation cases from complaint through trial or resolution Implement and monitor CMO deadlines and requirements Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with attorneys Coordinate with support staff for depositions, mediations, and hearing scheduling Maintain detailed case documentation and organization Trial Support Provide comprehensive trial preparation and support Travel to Central Florida for larger trials as needed Coordinate trial logistics and exhibit preparation Support attorneys during trial proceedings Client & Team Communication Maintain professional client communications Collaborate effectively with remote team members Participate in case strategy discussions Provide regular case status updates Professional Qualities Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing priorities Cultural Fit Collaborative mindset with strong team orientation Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills Enthusiasm for integrating technology into legal practice What We Offer Competitive compensation package Remote work environment with hybrid elements related to trial work Opportunity to work with an innovative, prestigious firm Professional development opportunities Collaborative, technology-forward culture Chance to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives Location & Travel This is primarily a remote position with occasional travel required for certain trials and key events.
