A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

Description of Job Duties:
Incumbent prepares legal documents and correspondence; performs advanced Case Management System (CMS) data entry; assists in trial preparation; attends court hearings; transcribes; maintains calendars; assists in office administrative functions; prepares and maintains case files; interacts with external agencies; provides advanced customer service; contacts witnesses; assists, trains and/or supervises other secretaries; and performs other related job duties.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or
GED Hours :
Full Time 8-5p
Monday- Friday Salary :
$16-21/hr
Benefits :
Retirement, Vision, Dental, Health, PTO, Work from home Tuesdays and Thursdays afte 90 days.
