Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support across a broad spectrum of litigation matters, ensuring smooth case progression from inception through resolution. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help facilitate efficient case management, legal research, document review, and client communication. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in various areas of law while contributing to impactful legal work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all phases of civil and commercial litigation, including case preparation, discovery, and trial support Conduct comprehensive legal research to gather pertinent case law, statutes, and regulations Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests with precision and clarity Manage case files and document management systems efficiently, ensuring confidentiality and proper filing procedures are maintained Coordinate client interviews, witness statements, and expert consultations to gather relevant information for cases Support procedural law compliance by tracking deadlines, filing documents with courts accurately and timely Handle potential new clients including gathering relevant party and factual information Roster Checks Skills Extensive knowledge of litigation procedures across various practice areas such as Construction Law & Litigation, Employment & Labor Law, Real Esatate Litigation, and Business & Commercial Litigation. Proficiency with legal support software including Westlaw, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), and document review platforms Strong research skills with the ability to interpret procedural laws and legal precedents accurately Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and confidentiality handling Experience in legal drafting, writing skills for reports or summaries, proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity Demonstrated project management capabilities to coordinate case activities efficiently from initial intake through resolution
Pay:
$58,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
