Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

- We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings. Duties:
- Maintain attorney calendar.
- Follow up with new leads at attorney's request.
- Notify clients of all court dates via email and text.
- Draft LOR and Discovery requests for all new clients.
- Ensure all Discovery is downloaded and uploaded into the proper platform.
- Follow up on outstanding Discovery via email and phone.
- Prepare physical files upon request.
- Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to support seamless case management and workflow.
- Handle administrative tasks, including mailing, scanning, and faxing important documents.
- Attend required meetings.
- Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in managing an attorneys calendar. Handling multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in discovery review, downloading and organization
- Knowledge of legal drafting procedures
- Excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and colleagues
- Experience in conducting client interviews within a legal setting
- Understanding of basic legal principles

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00- $65,000.
