Job Description

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting our legal team by preparing legal documents, filing motions, and coordinating office activities. Compensation:
$40,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings Arrange law office activity such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
Qualifications:
Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills About Company We are a fast-growing regional Family and Estate Law Firm with multiple offices in NC and SC.
