We are currently seeking an experienced Litigation paralegal to join our Charleston office. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Qualifications Four-year degree and/or certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program 1-3 years of litigation paralegal experience Strong oral and written communication skills Professional demeanor with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities efficiently Essential Functions and Responsibilities Review case files, pleadings, and incoming correspondence; calendar and track deadlines Assist with discovery, including drafting responses, coordinating document production, and following up on outstanding items Interview clients and witnesses; summarize case facts and discovery responses Request and review records (medical, SLED, driving, personnel, FOIA, project files) Conduct approved social media and internet searches Prepare deposition notices, subpoenas, and assist with deposition, mediation, and trial preparation Prepare medical chronologies and case summaries Assist with settlement documents and ensure execution and filing Meet monthly billing expectations Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff; perform other assigned duties If you're ready to take the next step in your career with a firm that values innovation and a supportive workplace culture, we encourage you to apply to McAngus Goudelock & Courie!
