Compensation:
$35,000- $60,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements Coordinate between attorneys, staff, and outside vendors to manage the law firm's case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met Draw up legal documents for attorney review Complete legal research to obtain documentation regarding medical records, health insurance, social security, and medical providers Consult with attorneys and provide recommendations with regard to cost and time-effective ways to accomplish the client's goalsQualifications:
Experience drafting legal documents and conducting legal research is vital Computer proficient- specifically with case management software, word processing, and spreadsheet presentation Professional case management process experience is needed
- preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, at a non-profit, law firm, or human services agency Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once A 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor's degree is preferred
