Job Description
Description Robert Half is seeking a corporate paralegal to support a corporation in Nashville, TN. This role supports contracting and legal review for all marketing matters with the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for marketing initiatives by assessing promotional content and commercial documents for risk, accuracy, and compliance.
- Examine a broad range of marketing assets, including digital campaigns, social media content, blogs, newsletters, videos, testimonials, sales materials, and advertising pieces before release.
- Advise internal teams on legal considerations tied to branded campaigns, promotional strategies, and public-facing communications.
- Review and support negotiation of commercial agreements connected to marketing, advertising, and related business activities.
- Identify potential legal or regulatory concerns in marketing collateral and recommend practical revisions that align with business objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to help maintain consistency in marketing review processes and protect company assets.
- Support concept-stage review for major annual promotional campaigns to address compliance issues early in development. Requirements
- 10+ years of paralegal experience, with significant exposure to marketing law, advertising review, or commercial contract support.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal and regulatory standards affecting marketing materials and promotional practices.
- Strong experience reviewing contracts and identifying legal risks in business-facing agreements.
- Ability to assess a wide variety of content formats, including print, digital, video, social media, and promotional campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple reviews in a fast-paced environment.
- Background supporting consumer-facing or brand-driven organizations is highly preferred.
