Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

We're looking for a legal assistant to join our team. Pay depends on ability. The applicant should be a self-starter and have a strong desire to become part of an innovative, fast-paced, and growing team. The successful candidate will have administrative skills such as organizing electronic documents, communicating effectively with coworkers, providing positive customer service while dealing with sensitive information, and working closely with law partners to ensure the office operates smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Create, forward, and distribute correspondence to individuals inside and outside an organization. Keep and maintain legal files for the company. Answer phone calls, place them on hold, direct calls to the appropriate parties, and notify appropriate parties of callers' messages. Analyze and organize electronic documents. Gather information needed by attorneys. Answer questions from attorneys and clients. Manage discovery requests and responses. Keep pace with a fast-paced office environment.
