Trevino Law Firm is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal who knows how to move cases, help clients, and work as part of a team. Edinburg, Texas Monday-Friday | 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. In-Office Position Only (No Work From Home) Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bilingual Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support across a broad spectrum of litigation matters, ensuring smooth case management and effective communication in both English and Spanish. Your proactive approach, combined with your strong organizational skills and legal expertise, will contribute significantly to the success of our legal operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills in legal research, document management, and client interaction will be highly valued. Responsibilities Assist attorney with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials. Conduct comprehensive legal research using legal research tools to support case strategies. Manage and organize case files using Needles document management system ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Review and analyze legal documents for relevance, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws for personal injury law and/or litigation cases. Coordinate interviews with clients and witnesses in both English and Spanish to gather pertinent information efficiently. Support the preparation of trial exhibits, deposition summaries, and other litigation materials while maintaining meticulous proofreading and transcription standards. Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments or court dates, answering phones with professional etiquette, and maintaining organized case records. Collaborate with attorneys on project management tasks to ensure deadlines are met and case progress is tracked effectively. Assist with document review processes to identify key information relevant to ongoing litigation or investigations. Requirements Proven paralegal experience in a busy law office environment with exposure to multiple practice areas including litigation. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with clients and team members. Experience working with Needles legal case management software is a PLUS Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in drafting legal documents, reports, and correspondence; strong proofreading skills are required. Effective interviewing skills for client interactions in both languages; professional phone etiquette is essential. Demonstrated clerical experience including data entry, filing systems management (physical or electronic), transcription services and document review.
