The ideal candidate will have a desire to develop both analytical and operational skills. The new associate will provide direct support to the company's General Counsel and Tax Director, who together manage Q's Strategic Planning department. In this role, you will always have a variety of projects and processes to handle in an array of disciplines within structured finance, which keeps the work fast paced and ever changing. This position will also handle, process, record, and report on expenses dealing with all aspects of firm operations. Compensation will be increased by up to 10% depending on experience.
Responsibilities may include:
Direct Support to General Counsel- Serve as a primary operational and administrative resource to the General Counsel, ensuring seamless day-to-day execution of priorities Legal Operations Support
- Draft, manage, and organize legal documents, routine forms, court filings, and data room confidentiality agreements; provide litigation and discovery support Entity Governance & Compliance
- Oversee entity lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, and governance, including KYC, LEI, and ISDA administration for domestic and international entities Document & Systems Management
- Maintain and organize physical and digital files; own and manage internal systems, trackers, reporting tools, and organizational charts Financial & Administrative Coordination
- Process monthly invoices and usage logs, assist with tax form management, and support bank account creation and termination across various institutions Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Financial Control team on projects and provide operational support across departments as needed Office Administration
- Manage health insurance administration (invoicing, open enrollment, and ongoing changes), coordinate meetings, and oversee travel logistics for team members Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications in support of the legal team's activities The ideal candidate will: Have an undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field with a 3.
