Most Critical Outcome (MCO) Assigned pre-litigation cases are advanced accurately and consistently toward resolution or litigation readiness with minimal rework or escalation. Consistent execution over good intentions Accurate documentation over assumptions Proactive medical and lien awareness Clear communication with clients and partners Early escalation before deadlines or risks are missed To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to perform the essential duties of the role and meet the performance expectations of the seat. The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Essential Responsibilities Case Ownership & Pre-Litigation Execution Manage an assigned caseload from intake handoff through resolution or litigation transfer. Coordinate medical treatment, follow-up, and documentation. Communicate with clients, medical providers, carriers, lienholders, and third parties as needed. Monitor deadlines, case status, and readiness milestones. Documentation, Quality & Readiness Maintain accurate, complete, and organized case files in the case management system. Ensure investigations, records, and lien issues are identified and coordinated with centralized teams. Draft demands and supporting documentation in accordance with firm standards. Prepare cases for negotiation, settlement, or litigation transfer. Coordination & Escalation Collaborate with Foundations, Records, Liens, attorneys, and internal teams to support case progression. Escalate risks, delays, or case issues promptly to the Team Lead. Participate in case reviews, meetings, and planning sessions as required.QUALIFICATIONS & PROFICIENCIES
High school diploma required. Paralegal certificate, associate degree, or college coursework in legal studies or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education. 1+ year experience in personal injury pre-litigation, case management, or a related legal role preferred. Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and case handling. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage a caseload in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with case management systems and standard office software. Deep alignment with McCraw Law Group's Core Values (HECTOR).
