Legal Assistant - Post-Sale Deed Conveyance Specialist-This onsite position located in Plano, TX Legal Assistant -
Post-Sale Deed Conveyance Specialist:
Manages FHA and VA REO workflow after a foreclosure sale is concluded, ensuring properties are properly transferred from the Servicer to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Requirements Experience:
2 to 5 years in mortgage default servicing, foreclosure operations, or post-sale asset management.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with HUD/FHA (including Claims Without Conveyance of Title or CWCOT) and VA guidelines Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Demonstrated analytical ability, independent judgment, initiative, and self-management Excellent verbal and written English language skills Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers Title review and title clearance, Identify Lien Priority based on title searches. Consult clients on Title and Conveyance search findings to process
Preferred:
AS degree Experience with client systems including Black Knight, Tempo and CaseAware, 2 to 5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, default servicing, or post-foreclosure operations At least one year of legal experience and knowledge of the foreclosure process. Excellent attention to detail and ability to think and act with little supervision. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize caseload. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must have basic computer proficiency, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
